The North Sea Road is the scenic alternative for those who want to do more than just put the miles behind them while big lorries hurtle past. The road, which hugs the coast of South Western Norway, is the gateway to many, great travel experience. Choose from countless attractions, including Norway’s southernmost point at Lindesnes, the Prekestolen (Pulpit Rock) beside the Lysefjord and a wealth of attractions for the whole family.
You can make this whole trip in a day, but we suggest you to slow your pace and open your senses. People in a hurry may prefer the inland highway E39, but the slower coastal road catches the ever-changing mood of the North Sea. It’s hard to imagine a better prelude of the fjords! |
